Dear All,
I can't tell you what an amazing event this was for me. To get 100 old friends in the same room after so many years was my goal, to get almost 200 in the same room was simply incredible. I am so happy to have helped reconnect all of us. All I did was throw out the first pitch and everyone just joined in the game.
Many people have mentioned what a blur the evening was - I totally agree. Who knew that five hours wouldn't be enough time?!? Some people told me they were overwhelmed and ready to go home. Others said they would have loved to have it go on for another three days. After processing all that info on my drive back home to Virginia on Sunday afternoon and talking on the phone in the car, I was blown away to find there were a handful of people that came that I didn't even get to see!!! That is a travesty. I wish all my two-minute conversations with everyone could have lasted much longer, and I wish my 20 minute conversations could have strung out through the weekend. I can also say that I wished I had gotten to know all of you better in high school, but it's great at this age to have so many new friends.
